Vancouver Whitecaps FC announced today that Oasis® Fruit Juice have become the official fruit juice partner of Whitecaps FC. Additionally, Oasis Fruit Juice will also be the presenting partner of the ‘Caps Kick-Smart Program, which strives to introduce soccer into the lives of all children in a fun and interactive way, inspiring them to make physical activity a big part of their lives.
The ‘Caps Kick-Smart Program presented by Oasis focuses on giving elementary school students from grades 1 to 7 (ages 6 to 12) a chance to practice their soccer skills while learning the importance of qualities such as sportsmanship, positive attitude, hard work, and making healthy lifestyle choices. Hosted by former Whitecaps FC and Canadian national team player Sam Lenarduzzi, the Kick-Smart Program will visit 40 elementary schools in the metro Vancouver region this year. The sessions are 45-minutes in length and include Whitecaps FC player involvement. Every child who participates receives a guide with tips on the skills they learn during the sessions, as well as exercise, healthy eating and healthy living tips.
