With four days remaining until the launch of the 2012 season, Vancouver Whitecaps FC are in their final stages of preparation before the season opener versus Canadian rivals Montreal Impact. The club announced today that less than 2,500 tickets remain for the highly coveted match on Saturday, March 10.
Fans are encouraged to act quickly and purchase their tickets for this historic match-up between these two Canadian rivals to ensure they are able to witness the excitement and thrill first hand on Bell Pitch at BC Place. Tickets to Saturday’s match can be purchased at all Ticketmaster Ticket Centres, online at ticketmaster.ca/whitecaps, or Charge-by-Phone at 1.855.6.GO-CAPS (1.855.646.2277). Tickets start as low as $20 (including HST), and are subject to applicable service charges and fees.
The club also announced today that 13,000 season tickets have been sold to date for the club’s second season in Major League Soccer. Last year Whitecaps FC ranked in the top third in attendance in MLS, and also experienced the highest number of game day walk-up sales in the league.

This week, the ‘Caps wrap-up their last week of preseason training in Vancouver after returning home from a successful trip to Orlando, Florida. The club participated in the Disney World Pro Soccer Challenge, capturing the tournament title after defeating Toronto FC last Saturday. During the 2012 preseason, Whitecaps FC went undefeated with five wins and three draws, while outscoring their opponents 14 to five.
