Vancouver Whitecaps FC are one of two anchor tenants of BC Place. The club opened its second season in Major League Soccer in the state-of-the-art facility last weekend. As per club policy, the club does not disclose the terms of its agreements with any of its partners and continues to act in a manner that is consistent with the terms of all contracts.
With regards to the naming rights of BC Place, Vancouver Whitecaps FC have not been privy to the details of the discussions, nor the reasoning behind the decision by Government/PavCo not to proceed with the deal.
Vancouver Whitecaps FC are focused on the 2012 season and continue to work closely with PavCo to ensure that BC Place is one of the most exciting places to watch Major League Soccer in North America.
