Who is the global goalie? Lutz Pfannenstiel was a goalkeeper for the ‘Caps in the 2007 season. Pfannenstiel has now been dubbed the 'global goalie', as he’s the only professional soccer player to play in all six of FIFA’s global soccer confederations.
