500 friends and family of 'Caps midfielder, Michael Nanchoff, took over the parking lot of Crew Stadium in Columbus Ohio this past Saturday. Michael's good friend, Dejan Mladonevic, organized the event which was a full swing party, complete with a DJ, soccer tennis, a potent plum beverage and the all important Serbian sausage "Cevapcici". Following a raucous tailgate party, Team Nanchoff made their way into the stadium where they cheered for Michael and our Whitecaps. Perhaps spurred on by the enthusiastic 'Caps supporters, our team beat the Columbus Crew 1-0.
