It was another memorable match for Whitecaps FC in the ever-intense Cascadia Cup in Portland on Saturday. JELD-WEN Field is no doubt a tough place to play for opponents, but it's sure friendlier when you have several hundred of your own fans boisterously cheering you on. Watching the match on TV is one thing, but even from field level on the opposite end of the stadium, Whitecaps supporters could still be heard loud and clear.
So thank you 'Caps fans. Once again, you were just the boost that the team needed. You made the difference.
