VANCOUVER, BC - The United Soccer Leagues announced today that Vancouver Whitecaps FC striker Jenna Richardson has been named to the W-League All-Western Conference Team.

The Canadian youth international was one of three strikers to be selected to the squad after registering four goals and four assists for 12 points during nine W-League appearances this season.

The native of Surrey, BC, earns the nod after completing her third consecutive W-League campaign with the ‘Caps women’s squad, having first played for Vancouver back in 2010.

Entering her junior year at Oregon State University this fall, the 20-year-old led Canada in scoring with four goals in five matches at this year’s CONCACAF U-20 Women’s Championship.

As runners-up at Panama 2012, Richardson and Canada qualified for this year’s FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup in Japan (August 19 to September 8, 2012).
