Level on points with Reserve League West Division leaders LA Galaxy reserves, the ‘Caps second string are still looking for their first home win of the season after claiming all three of their Reserve League victories on the road this season.

Results at home in 2012 include a season-opening draw versus Seattle Sounders FC reserves on March 26, plus two disappointing defeats to Portland Timbers reserves on April 22 and LA Galaxy reserves on June 12.

Monday’s reserves squad will include new Designated Player signing Kenny Miller, who made his Major League Soccer debut in Sunday’s important 2-1 home win over San Jose Earthquakes, and fit-again striker Atiba Harris (pictured). The 16-player roster also includes five members of the Whitecaps FC U-23 side that recently completed their 2012 United Soccer Leagues Premier Development League (PDL) campaign.

The ‘Caps reserves have one more home match in their 2012 Reserve League season. On Monday, September 10, Vancouver’s second string will host San Jose Earthquakes reserves at UBC Thunderbird Stadium at 11 a.m. PT. Admission for the September 10 match is free of charge.
