Second annual adidas Champions Cup filled with exciting action

This past long weekend, Vancouver Whitecaps FC once again partnered with adidas Canada, BC Soccer, and the EA SPORTS BC Soccer Premier League (BCSPL) to deliver the second annual adidas Champions Cup.

This year’s tournament was played at Minoru Oval Park in Richmond and featured a U-16 girls and a U-16 boys competition comprised of eight BCSPL teams each. After 16 games on Saturday, it all came down to the Sunday finals where Whitecaps FC’s Omar Salgado was on hand to present the medals to the winning teams.
