Whitecaps FC reserves wrap up home schedule versus San Jose

Playing the final home match of the MLS Reserve League season, Vancouver Whitecaps FC reserves (3W-3L-2D) host San Jose Earthquakes reserves (4W-2L-2D) on Monday morning. Kickoff from Thunderbird Stadium on the campus of the University of British Columbia is set for 11 a.m. PT and admission is free.

The ‘Caps second string are looking to complete their home schedule in positive fashion by earning their first home win of the season. They have good memories of their last Reserve League encounter with San Jose, as goals by Long Tan and Atiba Harris earned Vancouver a 2-1 away win over the Earthquakes reserves on April 8.


Monday’s reserve team line-up will include a mix of MLS roster players, plus four members of the Whitecaps FC U-18 Residency squad. Brazilian midfielder Tiago Ulisses is in the match day roster, as are trialist Jacon Lensky and Residency youngsters Sam Adekugbe, Sebastian CabreraJackson Farmer, and Brody Huitema.


Following Monday’s home clash, Whitecaps FC reserves will conclude their 2012 Reserve League season away to LA Galaxy reserves on Friday, October 12.
