Sunday’s match will be the biggest so far in Vancouver Whitecaps FC’s Major League Soccer history. With a win, the ‘Caps will become the first Canadian club to reach the MLS Cup Playoffs. In their way stand Cascadia rivals Portland Timbers.
The coaches and players are looking forward to making some history and being able to play this game in what is sure to be a sell-out crowd at BC Place. Whitecaps FC have taken advantage of this four-match home stand so far, and with two draws and a convincing 4-0 victory over Chivas USA, they are confident going into our last regular season home game of 2012.
