High Potential Player program

HPP

The bar has been raised again.

Much has been made across the league about young players taking that final step and breaking into the lineup with the first team, so our Vancouver Whitecaps FC are beefing up efforts to get them there. The club is now running a “High Potential Player” program in the goal of nurturing our top young players with extra training sessions.

The program is being catered to each player’s needs to give them the confidence that they can reach their full potential. This new initiative will give players like Bryce Alderson, Caleb Clarke, Ben Fisk, and Russell Teibert the individual training needed to take their game to another level and hopefully establish themselves as consistent professional players.

Gordon Forrest is leading the program and is very enthusiastic about working with the current group of talented youngsters.

It is a huge goal of our Whitecaps FC organization to develop our own players, and with the exciting talent we have on hand, and those younger prospects waiting in the wings, this program could be the catalyst to create many opportunities for our future ‘Caps stars.
