This year Vancouver Whitecaps FC have been recognized as finalists for the Social Media Awards 2013 presented by Vancity Buzz.
The Social Media Awards recognizes students and industry professionals in Vancouver with exceptional talent in social media. Whitecaps FC have been named as one of the top 7 nominees for "Best Video Channel" and "Best Company Blog". You can participate in the public vote to determine the winner. Voting began on January 10 and runs until February 21, 2013. The winner will be announced March 29, 2013. VOTE NOW
In addition, Whitecaps FC have been nominated for the National Sports Forum’s 2013 ADCHIEVEMENT AWARDS. Vancouver Whitecaps FC submitted the 2013 SeasonTicket renewal campaign in three categories – Internet, Print, and In-Stadium, and have been announced as finalists in all three categories.
The ADCHIEVEMENT AWARDS collect hundreds of submissions for exceptional advertising campaigns from across the North American sports industry. The winners will be announced at the 2013 National Sports Forum in Orlando, between January 27 and 29, 2013.
