Vancouver Whitecaps FC president Bob Lenarduzzi was awarded with the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal.
This commemorative medal marks the 60th anniversary of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth as the queen of Canada. It serves to honour her Majesty’s time on the throne as well as the significant contributions and achievements of the members of our society.
Nominated by Premier Christy Clark, Bob Lenarduzzi was honoured with this medal for his significant contributions to building the province of British Columbia. Bob has been a vital part of the sports community in our province and country since the club's foundation in 1974.
Bob Lenarduzzi was also honoured with the Order of British Columbia in 2005.
