Whitecaps FC visit Tim Hortons

Tim Hortons customers at Granville and Nelson street  were surprised to see who was behind the counter this morning. From 7 to 9 a.m. PT today, ‘Caps midfielder Bryce Alderson, Whitecaps FC president Bob Lenarduzzi , and club ambassador Carl Valentine were serving coffee and stirring up some hype for the ‘Caps first two home matches of the 2013 season.


If you missed them this morning you are not out of luck. The ‘Caps will be visiting various locations until Thursday this week . Stop by the corner of Pender and Abbott Street on Tuesday to meet striker Omar Salgado, or share a coffee with defender Jordan Harvey on Wednesday at Royal Centre on Burrard Street. For Thursday’s finale join goalkeeper Brad Knighton  at the Tim Horton's near the West Georgia Skytrain Station. Players will be on-site between 7 and 8:30 a.m. PT (approximately) each day.


Stop by and you could win some great prizes, including scarves, jerseys and tickets!


Bob Lenarduzzi will also join Jordan Harvey on Wednesday, and Carl Valentine will be on-site on Tuesday and Thursday. During these times  guests will have the chance to win tickets to the March 2 home opener against Toronto FC, as well as other Tim Hortons prizes.
