Amway Canadian Championship kicks off next week

The opening leg of the 2013 Amway Canadian Championship semifinal stage kicks off on Wednesday April 24 in Toronto, ON and Edmonton, AB. The four Canadian professional clubs, Toronto FC, Vancouver Whitecaps FC, FC Edmonton and Impact Montréal, will battle it out for the right to represent Canada in the 2013-2014 CONCACAF Champions League.

The Amway Canadian Championship will again this year feature six matches over four Wednesday nights, with the semifinal series on April 24 and May 1, and the championship final series on May 15 and 29.

Leg one of this semifinal will be played at BMO Field on April 24 (kickoff at 4:30 p.m. PT on Sportsnet East, Ontario, West and Pacific). The two clubs will resume their semifinal in Montreal on May 1 (kickoff at 4:45 p.m. PT).
