This will be the first Cascadia Cup meeting of the season as the 'Caps look to conquer the Pacific Northwest. The Cascadia Cup is a trophy created by supporters of the three Pacific Northwest-based teams: Vancouver Whitecaps FC, Portland Timbers, and Seattle Sounders FC.

This upcoming match is one not to miss as the 'Caps are looking to earn a win, make history, and end the Timbers’ nine game unbeaten streak (tied with Dallas for the longest current unbeaten streak in MLS). Portland are also the current Cascadia Cup holders, lifting the cup on our turf here at BC Place last season.

This rivalry is rooted in history as the Timbers defeated the ‘Caps in 2011 in the first game at the newly-renovated BC Place. Portland also beat Whitecaps FC in our final home match of 2012 as the 'Caps looked to clinch a playoff spot. Emotions will be running high in this highly anticipated match.

It's time for redemption.

Don’t miss out on the opportunity to see Whitecaps FC end the streak and cut down the Timbers. Fans will not have another chance to see the ‘Caps take on Portland at home until October.

Be on the ball and secure your seats while you still can.
