Vancouver Police Department Youth Soccer Camp

VPD soccer camp

For the last 25 years, Vancouver Police Soccer and Service Club have put on a camp for underprivileged youth aged six to 17 with the help of Vancouver Police Foundation and Whitecaps FC. This is a four day camp that runs from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. PT from July 2nd through 5th. Nearly 250 kids will participate this year at Strathcona Park.

This camp is directed towards inner city youth and feature dozens of games and drills to teach the kids the basics of shooting, passing, and dribbling. Vancouver Whitecaps FC are happy to support this event through the donation of soccer balls, tickets for all the children attending the camp, giveaways, and a visit and demonstration by Carl Valentine, Whitecaps FC MLS players, and Spike on the final day.

Whitecaps FC are proud to partner with the Vancouver Police Department to support the community and to help run this annual soccer camp for underprivileged youth.
