Located at ‘Caps Kickoff on Terry Fox Plaza, the BMO Kicking Cage provides fans of all ages with the chance to test their speed and accuracy and see how they compare with their favourite Whitecaps FC players. At the BMO booth, you can also sign up for a BMO MasterCard to experience the Power of Blue
BMO Power of Blue
Use your BMO MasterCard or debit card at the BMO Power of Blue line at Gate A at BC Place and you could win access to exclusive experiences such as the BMO Official Coin Toss, the BMO Move of the Match, or the Post-Match Kick.
Following the match, BMO volunteers will also be distributing Whitecaps FC magnetic schedules at all the gates to fans exiting the stadium. Make sure to pick up your magnetic schedule after the match!
Bell Fan Zone
Show that you are the ultimate ‘Caps fan at the Bell Fan Zone. Get your face painted in Whitecaps FC colours or colour your own scarf. Play against your friends in EA Sports FIFA 14 and dominate the virtual pitch as your favourite ‘Caps. Visit the Bell Fan Zone from 3:30-4:00 p.m. PT to meet a Whitecaps FC player. Do not miss out on this exciting opportunity to get an autograph from one of your favourite ‘Caps players.
'Caps Kickoff
Whitecaps FC fans are invited to get excited and celebrate the start of the 2014 season at ‘Caps Kickoff, which will run from 3:00 to 4:30 p.m. PT on Terry Fox Plaza. Come out and show your support for the ‘Caps at this fun community event for fans of all ages!
Stop by and visit Bell Media at ‘Caps Kickoff, as TEAM Radio broadcasts the pre-match show live from Terry Fox Plaza. The Beat 94.5 and QM/FM 103.5 will also be on hand playing music for ‘Caps fans during the pre-match celebration.
The Comic Soccer players featuring Sammy Soccer on stilts will also be present at ‘Caps Kickoff, providing family friendly comedy to all attendees.

‘Caps Community Matchday Partner – Kids Help Phone
Whitecaps FC have teamed up with Kids Help Phone on Saturday, March 8, 2014, as our first community matchday partner of the season. Kids Help Phone is a community-based national organization with a network of 10,000 volunteers across Canada that work to ensure every child that takes the courageous step of reaching out for help receives the meaningful support they seek and deserve. Be sure to visit the Kids Help Phone booth at ‘Caps Kickoff and on the BC Place concourse at Section 213 to learn more about Kids Help Phone and the Walk So Kids Can Talk, presented by BMO on May 4, 2014 at David Lam Park.
Kids Help Phone is also proud to introduce the “Always There” App that provides a password protected space for you to log your feelings, flip through a ton of youth-submitted tips, inspirational quotes, and jokes aimed at helping you cope with stress. Port Metro Vancouver Heritage Horns
Port Metro Vancouver is proud to help celebrate 40 years of Whitecaps FC history by sounding the Canada Place Heritage Horns after every Whitecaps FC win this season. While the history of the Heritage Horns dates back to 1967, the horns at Canada Place have been a staple of Vancouver’s lunch hour for the past 15 years, sounding the first four notes of O’ Canada every day at noon. The sounding of the Heritage Horns at Canada Place for Whitecaps FC victories could be the beginning of a tradition unlike any other in North America and will serve as a symbol, unique to Vancouver, of the local civic pride for Whitecaps FC.
New Centerplate Concession Items
Whitecaps fans can look forward to a fantastic savoury experience as they cheer on the ‘Caps with new concession items this year. Centerplate has added Asian steamed buns and a revamped premium burger that is a secret blend of spices and premium local beef made in house at BC Place. But don’t worry the return of fan favourites such as the iconic short-rib poutines and grilled bacon-wrapped hot dogs will still be on hand.
