The kids have done it again.

After coming back twice to earn a 2-2 draw with England U-20, Canada’s U-20 men’s national team claimed a 2-1 win over Russia’s U-21 side in a friendly Saturday in Marbello, Spain.

All three goals were scored from the penalty spot.

Jordan Hamilton and Vancouver Whitecaps FC midfielder Marco Bustos provided the scoring for the Red and White in the 49th and 51st minutes. Bustos, who drew the penalty before finishing it himself, started for Canada – as did his Whitecaps FC teammates Marco Carducci and Sam Adekugbe.

Canada will play their third and final friendly of this camp on Tuesday against the United States U-20 side, who are coming off wins over Ireland and Russia.

Tuesday’s matchup could be a potential CONCACAF U-20 World Cup qualifying showdown. The 2015 CONCACAF U-20 Championship, which serve as qualifiers for the 2015 FIFA U-20 World Cup, will take place in Montego Bay, Jamaica in January.
