Canada suffer heartbreaking 3-2 loss to El Salvador in U-20 CONCACAF Championship Group B action

Canada’s U-20 men’s national team suffered a heartbreaking 3-2 loss to El Salvador Thursday in U-20 CONCACAF Championship Group B action.


The Red and White came back twice from one-goal deficits before surrendering a stoppage-time stunner in their third match of the group stage in Montego Bay, Jamaica.

FC Edmonton midfielder Hanson Boakai and Vancouver Whitecaps FC midfielder Kianz Froese provided the scoring for Canada.

Canada’s next match is Monday at 12 p.m. PT vs. Cuba.
