VANCOUVER, BC – Vancouver Whitecaps FC and Bell announced today that Bell has joined the Whitecaps FC 2 (WFC2) family as Premier Founding Partner. The major component of this partnership is the #BellTeamVIP youth program which will take place at each WFC2 home match at UBC Thunderbird Stadium.

All U-9 to U-16 boys and girls soccer teams are encouraged to enter, and entering is easy! All you need to do is post a photo of your team, tell us why you love soccer, and include the #BellTeamVIP hashtag. You can also enter by submitting at whitecapsfc.com/BellTeamVIP. For each WFC2 home match, two lucky teams will be selected for a VIP WFC2 match experience for their entire team, courtesy of Bell.

“We’re thrilled to announce this newest partnership between Bell and WFC2,” said Bob Lenarduzzi, Whitecaps FC president. “Bell continues to show their commitment to soccer and Whitecaps FC and the launch of the #BellTeamVIP contest – a unique program that will inspire youth soccer players by giving them access to the pros – takes it to a new level.”

“Bell is delighted to grow our relationship with Whitecaps FC to include WFC2 and support youth soccer at the same time,” said Loring Phinney, Vice President, Corporate Marketing at Bell. “The #BellTeamVIP contest gives youth soccer teams the chance to have a very unique soccer experience alongside future Whitecap FC stars throughout the season, encouraging a whole new generation of Canadian soccer talent.”

The #BellTeamVIP experience includes 25 tickets to a WFC2 match, a pre-match experience including a WFC2 player or coach meet and greet, pitch side warm-up viewing, and participation in a post-match autograph signing session. The contest is now underway and will run throughout the entire WFC2 season. Winning teams will be selected by Vancouver Whitecaps FC. Teams are encouraged to enter for this unique opportunity, presented by Bell.
