Kah and Manneh bringing Gambian magic to Vancouver

Kah, 35, started 25 of his 26 appearances in all competitions during his first season in Vancouver.

"A big thanks to the coaching staff, my teammates, and everyone involved at the club for making my first year in Vancouver an enjoyable one," Kah said. "I'm looking forward to coming back and being a part of an even more successful year in 2016."

Offensively, the 6-foot-1 centre back contributed three goals and two assists, including a brace at Cascadia Cup rivals Seattle Sounders FC in Vancouver’s 3-0 win last August. For his efforts at CenturyLink Field, the North American Soccer Reporters named Kah the MLS Player of the Week for Week 22. Also of note, only one MLS defender scored more goals than Kah in 2015.

Prior to joining Vancouver, Kah made 47 appearances in all competitions during two seasons with Portland Timbers.

Kah also played for Qatari club Al Khor from 2011 to 2013, with a loan to Qatar SC in 2012, followed by a move to Saudi Arabian club Al-Wehda in 2013.
