It’s been a busy offseason for Vancouver Whitecaps FC.


The 'Caps have locked up the likes of Kendall Waston, Matias Laba and Cristian Techera long term, while adding some exciting attacking talent in the form of Christian Bolaños and Masato Kudo. And according to head coach Carl Robinson, they may not be done yet. . 


However, with preseason training set to begin this week, we thought this would be a good time to look back on all of Vancouver’s transactions over the last few months. On that note, we present you the 2016 edition of the Whitecaps FC Offseason Transaction Tracker.


Nov. 12, 2015: Whitecaps FC re-sign midfielder Matias Laba to multi-year contract extension.


Nov. 19, 2015: Whitecaps FC re-sign centre back Kendall Waston to multi-year contract extension.


Dec. 1, 2015: Whitecaps FC pick up 2016 contract options on goalkeepers Marco Carducci and David Ousted, defenders Sam Adekugbe, Jordan Smith, and Tim Parker, midfielders Gershon Koffie, Nicolas Mezquida, and strikers Erik Hurtado, Kekuta Manneh, and Darren Mattocks.


Dec. 1, 2015: Whitecaps FC extend Smith’s loan through the end of 2016 with an option to transfer from Costa Rica’s Primera División side Deportivo Saprissa.


Dec. 1, 2015: Whitecaps FC decline 2016 contract options on goalkeeper Paolo Tornaghi, defenders Steven Beitashour, Pa-Modou Kah, and Ethen Sampson, midfielder Andre Lewis, and striker Caleb Clarke, and confirm the departure of centre back Diego Rodriguez.


Dec. 1, 2015: Whitecaps FC confirm that midfielder Mauro Rosales and striker Robert Earnshaw are out of contract for 2016.


Dec. 11, 2015: Whitecaps FC re-sign centre back Pa-Modou Kah to one-year contract extension.


Dec. 18, 2015: Whitecaps FC acquire 2016 second-round MLS SuperDraft pick from Toronto FC in exchange for right back Steven Beitashour.


Dec. 29, 2015: Whitecaps FC sign striker Masato Kudo to multi-year contract following free transfer from Japan’s J1 League side Kashiwa Reysol.


Jan. 6, 2016: Whitecaps FC sign winger Cristian Techera to multi-year deal, finalize transfer from Uruguayan side Club Atlético River Plate Montevideo using Targeted Allocation Money.


Jan. 14, 2016: Whitecaps FC select centre back Cole Seiler and strikers Christopher Hellmann and Thomas Sanner in the first two rounds of the 2016 MLS SuperDraft.


Jan. 18, 2016: Whitecaps FC re-sign midfielder Deybi Flores to multi-year contract, finalize transfer from Honduran side Club Deportivo Motagua.


Jan. 19, 2016: Whitecaps FC select midfielders James Moberg and Josh Heard and defender/midfielder Tyler David in the final two rounds of the 2016 MLS SuperDraft.


Jan. 20, 2016: Whitecaps FC sign midfielder Christian Bolaños to multi-year contract following a transfer from Costa Rica's Primera División side Deportivo Saprissa using Targeted Allocation Money.
