Heading to Vancouver Whitecaps FC's big season opener against Montreal Impact on Sunday afternoon at BC Place? Read on to find out about all of the match activities, specials and important details! Kickoff is at 2:30 p.m. PT.
There are still limited tickets available for Sunday's highly-anticipated match. Act quick to purchase tickets online or at Gate A or Gate C on matchday!
STADIUM ENTRY
Due to construction, the outside stadium concourse will be inaccessible between Gates E and G. Gate F remains closed for the 2016 season.
Please arrive early! Doors open at 1:30 p.m. PT (1 p.m. PT for suite holders).
Be sure to check out our new safety procedures and allow for extra time. All guests entering BC Place are subject to a pat down and bag search. If you experience a lineup at a given gate, please remember that you can enter the stadium at any alternate gate, except Gate F.
TICKET PICK-UP
All printed tickets will be available for pick-up at Team Ticket Services, located at Gate H. For all season ticket inquiries, please go to Gate H.
Ticket printing services are available at every gate with the exception of the closed Gate F.
Box offices at Gate A and H will open at 12:30 p.m. PT. All other box offices will open at 1 p.m. PT. Your tickets are also available on mobile, either through the ‘Caps App or Ticketmaster.
FOOD AND DRINK SPECIALS
Make sure to arrive early as there will be food and drink specials inside the stadium from 1:30 p.m. to 2 p.m. PT!
Get 12 oz domestic draught for $6 or 24 oz for $11.25 (available at all taps, beer portables, Dawson Dogs, The Poutinerie, Commercial Drive Pizza and Club Lounge).
Select food items will be 25 per cent off, including hot dogs and veggie dogs (available at Lionsgate Grill, Dawson Dogs and The Poutinerie) or pizza slices (available at Commercial Drive Pizza).
RALLY CARDS
Arrive to the match early and be a part of a stadium wide chant right before the first whistle. Fans will find a rally card on their seats, along with a matchday program on the back. Hold your rally cards high!

‘CAPS KICKOFF
Come out to ‘Caps Kickoff from 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. PT at the Terry Fox Plaza and get excited about the match. ‘Caps fans of all ages are invited show their support for the Blue and White at this fun community event.
'Caps Kickoff will feature:
- Bell Fan Zone from 1:30 p.m. to 2 p.m. PT. Meet a Whitecaps FC player and receive their autograph! Fans can also get their faces painted at the Bell Fan Zone and play FIFA ’16.
- Whitecaps FC Official Merchandise Trailer. Get your hands on some new swag including the new Sea to Sky Jersey.
- Beer garden from 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. PT (weather dependent).
- Free matchday magnets on a KIA car.
- Digital photo booth (weather dependent). Take images of yourself and friends in front of Whitecaps FC themed backgrounds. Get your photos e-mailed to you or receive free prints right away.
- BCAA and EVO Soccer Shootout. All fans who participate will win a prize. The more goals you score, the better your prize! There will also be a spin-the-wheel and an inflatable sports cage where fans can measure their speed and accuracy.
- Canada Soccer booth. Enter to win a Canada Soccer scarf and two tickets to the Canada's World Cup qualifier vs. Mexico at BC Place on March 25!
- WFC2 booth. Try your hand at "cornhole" while listening to mixes from the Bell DJ. Fans can also stop by the BMO booth to play a fun game of “human foosball."
- UBC Athletics and Recreation tent. Try your hand at shooting some hoops. Giveaways include mini-hoops and balls,T-shirts, or tickets to the 2016 CIS Final 8 Men's Basketball National Championship!
- Sammy Soccer Stiltwalker and Freddie Futball will be on hand to deliver interactive fun and laughs. Take them on in a friendly match and show them your skills!
- Join QMFM and Virgin Radio to play bean bag toss or Connect Four.
- TSN 1040 radio will also be at ‘Caps Kickoff broadcasting live from the event.
Sunday’s community match day partner is Kids Up Front. Be sure to visit their booth for some giveaways!
50/50 PROGRAM
The ‘Caps 50/50 program presented by Save-On-Foods is run at MLS home matches at BC Place and benefits BC Children’s Hospital Foundation.
Purchase your tickets at section 234 or with 50/50 sellers on the concourse. Tickets are three for $5, 7 for $10 or 18 for $20.
Must be 19 years or older to play. Know your limit, play within it.
BIKE VALET
The bike valet service will operate from Gate C. Bike valet service is available from 1 p.m. PT to a half hour after the final whistle.
KIA PITCHSIDE CLUB ACCESS
Due to the recent construction at BC Place and along Pacific Boulevard, the KIA Pitchside Club entrance is closed until further notice. To access the KIA Pitchside Club area, please proceed to the main concourse and walk down the corresponding section aisle to your seats. An accessible option is also available via the elevator at Section 247 down to the KIA Pitchside Club Lounge.
ACCESSIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
All stadium entrances are wheelchair accessible. Wheelchair seating is located on Level 2. All suites are also wheelchair accessible.
A temporary gate at section 139 (from parking lot 457) will act as a drop-off location for those requiring an accessible entrance from Pacific Boulevard. BC Place staff will be stationed at section 139 to assist and shuttle guests to the section 147 elevator.
Please note that the accessible entrance located on Pacific Boulevard underneath Gate F will be closed.
