That's what you call passion.

Tuesdayā€™s result has Costa Rica sitting comfortably on seven points after the first four matches of The Hex, the fifth and final round of 2018 World Cup qualifying in the CONCACAF region.

Waston, who came up with a key goalline block earlier in the match, has now appeared in seven 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifiers dating back to November 2015. In those matches, the Ticos have posted an undefeated 5W-0L-2D record, including four clean sheets. BolaƱos, meanwhile, has appeared in all 10 of Costa Ricaā€™s qualifiers, recording four goals and three assists.

Whitecaps FC head coach Carl Robinson told reporters on Tuesday heā€™s hopeful that both BolaƱos and Waston will be available for selection on Saturday night against LA Galaxy (7 p.m. PT at BC Place ā€“ tickets still available).
