Vancouver Whitecaps FC are set to compete in the 2017 Scotiabank CONCACAF U-13 Champions League, which kicks off this Saturday and runs through August 12.
This is the second straight year Whitecaps FC are sending a U-13 Residency side to the tournament, which features some of the best youth teams across North America, Central America, and the Caribbean in that age group.
The ‘Caps open the competition on Saturday vs. C.S. Herediano (Costa Rica) before facing Chicago Fire (USA) on Sunday and Fuerza Naranja (Mexico) on Monday.
The 16 participating U-13 clubs will play in round-robin format for the group stage with the top two teams from each group advancing to the quarterfinals, followed by the semifinals, third-place match and final. Click here to view the full schedule.
The invitational tournament, featuring 16 of the region’s top under-13 clubs representing 10 different CONCACAF Member Associations, will be played in its entirety at the Mexican Football Federation Headquarters, in Toluca, Mexico.

All matches of this year's tournament will be shown live at the official website, which features live broadcasts from the tournament as well as stats, information about the teams, photos and other content.
