VANCOUVER, BC - Vancouver Whitecaps FC announced on Tuesday that capacity for this Saturday's home match against LA Galaxy will be expanded to the full lower bowl of 27,837.

Including this weekend's match, more than 100,000 soccer fans will have come to BC Place over the course of the week. 54,798 fans watched Canada take on Mexico on Friday, followed by a sold-out crowd of 22,120 fans who watched Whitecaps FC win 1-0 against Houston Dynamo on Saturday.
With a record increase in season ticket memberships this year, Whitecaps FC expanded regular season capacity to 22,120 and sold out the season opener against Montreal Impact. In addition to this Saturday's match, the October 2 game versus Seattle Sounders FC and the October 23 regular season finale against Portland Timbers will also be opened to an expanded capacity.
