Highlights from Sunday's home opener

After three USL starts, Whitecaps FC 2 (WFC2) remain unbeaten. Their latest result was a 0-0 draw in a tough battle against perennial contenders Sacramento Republic FC. Once again, a very young lineup saw the field for WFC2, including a 17-year-old at right back and a 15-year-old in attack. But the 'Caps continued to show what they're capable of.

"We've come on leaps and bounds," Koch told reporters after the match. "A game like today, last year, we probably would have lost that game. Both games we played at the start of the season on the road, we wouldn't have got three points last year. As a team, we've grown substantially."
