Patterson, 21, enters her first season with Whitecaps FC in the W-League. For the past three years, the Edmonton, Alberta, native has played NCAA Division I soccer at the University of South Florida – including this past season alongside fellow Whitecaps FC women’s teammate Demi Stokes. In 2011, Patterson started 12 of her 15 appearances, scoring three goals and recording one assist. In total, she has started 49 of her 56 appearances for the Bulls, scoring 10 goals and recording 6 assists.

Internationally, Patterson has appeared for Canada at the U-20, U-17 and U-15 levels, while also having been called up to the senior national team in January 2011 for a training camp in Chongqing, China.

2010: Patterson played the 2010 W-League with Colorado Force (now Colorado Rapids Women), making eight appearances and recording three assists.

2011: As a junior Patterson started 12 of her 15 appearances where she scored three goals and one assist. 2010: The Edmonton, Alberta, native appeared in 22 games for the Bulls tallying six goals 2009: The midfielder started in 18 of 19 of her appearances as a freshman contributing one goal and five assists along the way.
