Alessia Azermadhi

Alessia Azermadhi joined Vancouver Whitecaps FC in September 2012 having last played for Mountain United FC. The Delta native has a plethroa of provincial experience under her belt.
Azermadhi started playing for Tsawwassen Soccer Club in 2006 and in 2011 joined up with Mountain United FC. She captained the Mountain United FC team who were successful in becoming the 2012 BC Provincial Champions. The midfielder has represented the BC Provincial team from U14 to U16 level in which time they finished 2nd and 3rd in back-to-back National Chamionships. Between 2010 and 2012 Alessia also attended the National Training Center.
The Delta native’s parents are Adrian and Redina Azermadhi. As a student, Alessia is due to graduate from South Delta Secondary School in 2014.
When not following her goal of receiving a scholarship to play soccer at university, Alessia likes to spend time with her friends and family. She also enjoys reading and running, and her favourite food is pasta. A fan of diminutive midfield playmakers, Alessia lists her favourite players as Andrés Iniesta and Mesut Özil. Her favourite team is Real Madrid and her dream stadium to play at would be Wembley Stadium, the home of the English National Team.
