PROFILE
Julia Grosso joined the Whitecaps FC Girls Elite REX Program in partnership with BC Soccer in January 2015 after previously playing with Mountain United FC in the EA SPORTS BC Soccer Premier League. She was the recipient of the 2016 Youth Soccer Player, BMO RESP as part of the club's annual year-end awards.

INTERNATIONAL
2017: Called up to Canada's U-20 national team, including a tournament in Australia. 2016: Represented Canada at both the 2016 CONCACAF U-17 Championship and the 2016 FIFA U-17 World Cup in Jordan. 2015: Grosso was called in to take part in a National EXCEL U-14/U-16 camp, as part of the camp, Canada participated in the U-17 Women’s NTC Invitational tournament. 2014: Grosso represented Canada at the 2014 CONCACAF Girls' U-15 Championship in the Cayman Islands, where Canada won gold. In November, Grosso was called into the first U-13/U-15 camp for Canada Soccer Women’s National EXCEL Program, presented by Bell.

YOUTH 
2014: Attended the 2014 Pacific Challenge Series in the U-15 age group, the series focuses on player identification and player development. The defender, was included in Phase 1 and 2 of the U-15 Provincial Development Program. While playing for U14 MUFC, scored in the League Cup Final helping her team win 4-2 against Surrey United. 2013: Grosso, was selected to Phase 1, 2, and 3 of the U-13 Provincial Development Program. Grosso, while playing on the U-13 MUFC team, scored in the provincal final helping her team win the Provincial Premier Cup 3-0 against Coastal FC, she was named the finals MVP. 2012: While playing for U13 Intake MUFC Grosso, scored in the Northwest Champions League Final helping her team win 3-1 against Vancouver Timbers from Washington State.  Won the silver medal at the BC Summer Games. 2011: Played for the Burnaby Girls Soccer Club at the Surrey United SC annual Labour Day Tournament, Grosso's team won 2-0 against Surrey United SC in the tournament Final. Won Gold Medal in the Crossfire Tournament while playing for the Whitecaps Prospects Team.

PERSONAL
Grosso's parents are Carlos and Elisa and her sister is Carli. The midfielder attends Vancouver Technical Secondary School.

INTERESTING FACTS
Grosso's favourite team is Real Madrid and Cristiano Ronaldo is her favourite player. Dream of playing at BC Place. Aspires to play for the Canadian women's national team at the World Cup and Olympics. Grosso also plays volleyball and enjoys swimming, her favourite food is sushi.
