Simmrin Dhaliwal

A native of Surrey, BC, Simmrin Dhaliwal returns after first joining Whitecaps FC Girls Elite in 2012 after previously playing with Mountain United FC in the EA SPORTS BC Soccer Premier League.

Dhaliwal began her soccer journey in 2003 as a member of Surrey Youth Soccer. She remained with Surrey Youth Soccer until 2006, when she joined Surrey United. In 2007, she joined Surrey Breakers until she returned to Surrey Youth Soccer in 2008. In 2011, she joined Mountain United FC, where she remained until joining Whitecaps FC. She was a member of the U-13, U-14, U-15, and U-16 BC Soccer Provincial teams, and served as team captain for her U-16 provincial team. 
Dhaliwal currently lives in Surrey with her parents, Gurvinder and Gurmeet, and her brother, Jeevan. She attends Panorama Ridge Secondary School and will graduate in 2015.
Dhaliwal hopes to one day compete for the Canadian senior women's national team. She joined Whitecaps FC to train with the best players in the province. Her favourite soccer team is FC Barcelona and her favourite player is Lionel Messi. Her hobbies are listening to music, watching basketball, and playing ping pong.
