Ali Musse

An attacking midfielder and striker that has spent time with the Manitoba Provincial Team (2009 & 2011) and the Canadian Men’s National U-17 and U-18 teams. Musse had spent one year with Whitecaps FC Residency in 2011, and rejoins the club in 2014 after three years with World Soccer Academy (WSA) in his hometown of Winnipeg, Manitoba.
2013-14: The attacking midfielder is currently playing with Whitecaps FC’s U-18 squad in the USSDA 2014 season. 
U-17: Musse was part of the U-17 Canadian National Team that participated in Panama for the CONCACAF Qualifier in 2013. In his most recent action on the world stage, Musse joined fellow Whitecaps FC Residency teammates in the 2013 FIFA U-17 World Cup in UAE representing the U-17 Canadian National Team. Musse, has also spent time in both U-17 and U-18 Canadian National Team Training camps from 2010 – 2013.
Before coming to back to Vancouver, the 5-foot-11, 150-pound midfielder/striker played with WSA Winnipeg from 2010 to 2013 in the USL Premier Development League. In the 2013 season with WSA Winnipeg, Musse recorded six goals in 14 matches. The Winnipeg, Manitoba native started his youth career playing with South End United under the Winnipeg Youth Soccer Association (WYSA) from 2005 until 2009. Musse has also spent time with the Manitoba Provincial U-14 (2009) and U-16 (2011) teams. 
Musse grew up in Winnipeg, Manitoba and his parents are Habibi Adem and Mohamed Musse.
When not concentrating on soccer, the midfielder enjoys being around his friends and family. He likes to watch movies and play other sports. His favorite soccer team is Spanish and European giants FC Barcelona, while his favorite players are Ronaldinho, Lionel Messi, and Neymar who have all been a part of Barcelona. The midfielder would like to play at Barcelona’s famed stadium, Camp Nou, one day. Musse favorite food is steak.
