Jasdeep Lally

A goalkeeper from Surrey, BC, Jasdeep Lally joined Whitecaps FC Residency in Sept. 2011 after representing his home province of British Columbia.

Lally’s youth career was spent with Surrey Football Club, where he started playing at Gold level from 2005 to 2008. He then made the move up to Metro level with Surrey Selects from 2008 to 2011. The keeper has also played in the United Soccer Leagues Super Y-League with Surrey WFC (2009) and Revolution FC (2010). He served as Revolution FC captain, as they claimed the Super Y-League Northwest Conference title in 2010. In 2011, Lally was a member of the BC provincial team program.

As a student in Surrey, BC, Lally attended Henry Bose Elementary School from 2003 to 2010 before enrolling in Panorama Ridge Secondary in 2010.

Lally is a fan of Spanish and European giants FC Barcelona, while his favourite player is Barcelona and Argentina star Lionel Messi. He hopes to play at Barcelona’s famous Camp Nou one day. Off the soccer pitch, the goalkeeper enjoys hanging out with friends, listening to music, and playing video games. His favourite food is pasta.
