Mark Baldisimo, a native of Burnaby, BC, is a versatile player who is able to play on the backline and the midfield joins Whitecaps FC from his previous club Burnaby Selects for who he played with for one season.

2012-13: Baldisimo started 20 of 26 regular season games for Whitecaps FC U-16 Residency, finishing second on the team in appearances for the entire season.

Baldisimo has enjoyed a solid youth career in his hometown of Burnaby, BC. The dual position player started playing organized soccer for Wesburn Youth Soccer Club from 2000-2003 before moving onwards to South Burnaby Metro Club from 2004-2007. He then joined Burnaby Selects for an amazing run from 2008-2010, and then Mountain United FC for two seasons in 2011 and 2012, before finally re-joining Burnaby Selects in 2013.  Baldisimo has also earned many distinct honours in his youth/amateur career, including being named to the U-15 and U-16 BC Provincial teams respectively.
Being a local boy his whole life, Mark has been a successful soccer player his entire career through the support of his parents, Samuel Baldisimo and Mely Otucan. He also states that he owes a ton of his soccer development to his brother's because he has played with them almost every single day. As a student, Baldisimo is currently in grade 12.
Baldisimo's favourite club soccer team is Spanish and European giants FC Barcelona, while his favourite player is Barcelona and Spain star Xabi Alonso. The defender/midfielder would also like to play at the legendary Wembley Stadium one day in the future. His favourite food is all sorts of Chinese food.
