Nikolas Papakyriakopoulos, a native of New Westminster, BC, is a versatile player whom is able to play in the backline and in the midfield. He joined Whitecaps FC from Coquitlam Metro-Ford SC, where he played for previous last three years.

Before joining the 'Caps' Pre-Residency program, Papakyriakopoulos played for Royal City Soccer Club from 2005-2010. He the moved on to play for Coquitlam Metro-Ford SC from 2010-12, where they won several titles including the 2011 North Cup, the Provincial U-14 runner-up, and several Washington State Championships like the Baker's Blast, Puma Challenge, and the Washington Rush Tournament in 2010 and 2011.
Papakyriakopoulos names his father as the biggest influence on his soccer career because of his ongoing support.
Papakyriakopoulos' favourite soccer teams to watch are Greece's P.A.O.K. F.C. and English Premier League notables Swansea City A.F.C. His favourite players are Brazilian stud Ronaldinho and Portuguese winger, Adelino Vieirinha. When he is not on the pitch, Papakyriakopoulos enjoys practicing karate and hanging out with his sister. His favourite food of choice is home-made Greek food.
