A passionate and committed goalkeeper coach, Raegyn Hall has been with Vancouver Whitecaps FC since 2008 and is the head goalkeeper coach for the Whitecaps FC Academy - formerly known as the Residency program.
Holding his Canadian Soccer National B License and England Football Association Goalkeeping B License, Hall has experience coaching at the collegiate and international levels.
Joining Whitecaps FC in 2008 as W-League assistant and goalkeeper coach, Hall became the Residency head goalkeeper coach in 2010. In 2015, Hall was appointed as Whitecaps FC 2 (WFC2) goalkeeper coach for the club's professional USL team, spending three years coaching with the team.
As the club's Residency goalkeeper coach, Hall's responsibilities include developing year-long training plans and delivering sessions for the U-14, U-15, U-17 and U-19 Residency goalkeepers. Other daily responsibilities comprise of analyzing and providing video for youth goalkeepers, developing and delivering individual training plans for all youth goalkeepers.
Prior to joining the ‘Caps, Hall was the goalkeeper at Simon Fraser University (SFU) from 2001 to 2004. His experience at SFU led to an assistant coaching position with the team that he held from 2005 to 2010. While coaching at SFU, Hall joined the Canadian Soccer Association (CSA) as the U-20 women’s goalkeeper coach in 2008, during his time at the CSA, the U-20 women were the CONCACAF winners and represented Canada at the U-20 Women’s World Cup.
