Mihaila has played for several soccer clubs across British Columbia, having started with Pitt Meadows Soccer Club. The midfielder played with Pitt Meadows from 2007 to 2009, before moving to Port Coquitlam SC, where he played in 2009 and 2010. In 2011, he transferred to Coquitlam Metro-Ford and played with the club for three years (2011-2014). Mihaila has made a huge impact as a goalscorer, leading BCSPL in goals in both 2012 and 2013. The young midfielder credits his coach with the U-14 BC Provincial Team, Rob Csabai, as the biggest influence on his career thus far, as the coach has provided him with technical and tactical advice, and kept him motivated as he moves forward on his path as a soccer player.
Mihaila is a fan of European teams Bayern Munich FC and Arsenal FC, while his favourite players are Romanian attacking midfielder, Gheorghe Hagi, and Bayern Munich FC winger, Franck Ribery. One day, the midfielder hopes to play at Bayern Munich’s home, Allianz Arena. As a long-term goal, Mihaila is striving towards a professional soccer career in Europe. Off the soccer pitch, Mihaila enjoys playing guitar and producing music, as well as watching comedy shows.
