Whitecaps FC holding evaluations for Fraser Valley and UBC academy programs

Vancouver Whitecaps FC will be holding evaluations for the club’s Fraser Valley and UBC academy programs over the next week. Boys and girls players from U-9 to U-12 are invited.

The Fraser Valley Prospects Academy, in partnership with the Abbotsford Soccer Association, is open to all players from U-9 to U-12 from the Fraser Valley district, supporting local partners including the BCSPL Fraser Valley Premier club. Evaluations will take place on Friday, September 15 from 5:30 to 6:45 p.m. PT at Matsqui Recreation Centre Field 2 in Abbotsford. To request to be evaluated, CLICK HERE.

The UBC Prospects Academy is hosted at the brand new Whitecaps FC National Soccer Development Centre (NSDC) at UBC. Evaluations will take place at UBC on Tuesday, September 19 and Wednesday, September 21, with U-9 to U-10 from 5 to 6:30 p.m. PT, and U-11 to U-12 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. PT. Both Academy Centres are led by Whitecaps FC Mainland Academy coach and Residency staff coach Craig Angus. The Fraser Valley Academy is supported by Girls Academy associate head coach and Girls Elite REX staff coach Maia Vink, while the UBC Academy is supported by Jasmine Mander, Girls Prospects head coach.
