Residency Report: U-14s continue to grow

While the elder Residency teams had an off weekend, the U-14 squad took to the field against an older Coquitlam Metro-Ford team, playing to a hard fought 2-2 draw.

Yayo Mutombo and Theo Afework scored the goals. Kyle Dent assisted on the first goal, and Jay Herdman on the second.

"Metro-Ford are a strong group coming in from the BC Soccer Premier League," noted U-14 head coach Scott Howey. "It was a game I was looking forward to see how we have been progressing. This was probably our strongest game so far this year and the closest we have come to putting in a full 70-minute performance."
