OCEANSIDE, CA – The Whitecaps FC Academy U-19s, part of the BMO Academy System, fell 2-1 to Michigan Wolves in their second match at the Development Academy Playoffs on Wednesday.
After going down 2-0 on 50 minutes, the ‘Caps were back in the game with a goal from Vasco Fry on 60 minutes. Unfortunately an equalizer wouldn’t come.
The U-19s will wrap-up Group E with a match versus second overall ranked Barca Academy on Friday at 5:30 p.m. PT. With Barca’s 2-1 win against Chargers SC, the ‘Caps will now need to finish the group stage with a two-goal victory over Barca in order to win Group E and advance to the quarterfinals.

Meanwhile on Thursday the U-17s will play their second Group A match against Atlanta United FC at 5:30 p.m. PT. Earlier in the day the U-15s will play their first match of the Showcase against New York City FC at 11 a.m. PT.
