BMO Academy Report: Pre-Academy win Shield quarterfinal at U-13 Concacaf Champions League

SAN JOSE, COSTA RICA – Vancouver Whitecaps FC Pre-Academy boys won 6-3 over Nicaraguan side Manauga FC in the Shield quarterfinals of the 2019 Concacaf U-13 Champions League on Wednesday.

Kyler Vojvodic scored three goals, bringing his total to five in the tournament. Captain Dominic Di Paola scored two others, while Angelo Zhu added the other.

Next up the ‘Caps is a Shield semifinal match versus fellow Canadian side Montreal Impact. Kickoff will be at 10 a.m. PT (11 a.m. local time).
