BMO Academy Report: ‘Caps roll at home

The ‘Caps boys MLS academy teams – part of the Whitecaps FC BMO Academy System – had a winning home weekend at the National Soccer Development Centre (NSDC).
 
U-19
 
The U-19s played one match, taking on their counterparts from future MLS club Sacramento Republic FC and winning 4-0.
 
Thomas Raimbault, who recently committed to play at Wake Forest University, scored twice and now leads the team with eight goals. Cristian Campagna and Owen Antoniuk added the others.
 
 
U-17
 
The U-15s won 5-2 on Saturday against Sacramento.
 
Ante Grgic had two, while Rohin Kapila, Muslim Umar, and Joe Hanson added the other three goals.
 
 
On Sunday the U-17s defeated Silicon Valley 2-1.
 
Grgic added his third of the weekend, while Eric White had the other.
 
 
U-15
 
Saturday was a 2-1 win over Sacramento.
 
Lucas Azmitia-Sherwood and Joel Demian scored the goals.
 
 
Sunday ended in a 2-2 draw versus Silicon Valley.
 
Michael Hennessy scored both goals for the ‘Caps.

All three academy teams host Cascadia rivals Seattle Sounders FC at the NSDC this coming Saturday, November 23.
