SILENCE THE DYNAMO: Through their first six matches of the season, Whitecaps FC 2 sit fourth in the Western Conference with 11 points and have tallied a league-leading 16 goals during that span. Sunday's match will mark the third meeting between the two teams in MLS NEXT Pro, with Houston claiming victory in the young 'Caps inaugural MLS NEXT Pro match in March 2022 and WFC2 winning the second meeting at Swangard last July via a penalty kick shootout.
U-20 WORLD CUP BOUND: WFC2 centre back Finn Linder and midfielder Jay Herdman have been named to New Zealand's FIFA U-20 World Cup roster. The tournament, which is set to take place from May 20 to June 11, will see New Zealand take on hosts Argentina, Guatemala, and Uzbekistan in Group A.
