Preview: WFC2 look to get back to winning ways against Minnesota United FC 2

VANCOUVER, BC – Whitecaps FC 2 will look to get back to winning ways as they wrap up their two-game homestand against Western Conference rivals Minnesota United FC at Swangard Stadium on Sunday, April 23. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. PT.

Sunday's match will mark the first meeting between the two teams in MLS NEXT Pro, with LA Galaxy II playing their inaugural season in MLS NEXT Pro this year.

BOUNCING BACK: Through their first four matches of the season, Whitecaps FC 2 sit sixth in the Western Conference with eight points and are tied for the most goals in the league with 10 heading into Matchday 5. On Sunday, the young 'Caps will be looking to bounce back after suffering their first loss of the season last weekend to LA Galaxy II. 

FAMILIAR FACES: With the first team on a bye this weekend, Sunday could see several 'Caps first team players suit up for WFC2. So far this season, Max Anchor, Isaac Boehmer, Matteo Campagna, Kamron Habibullah, J.C. Ngando, and Karifa Yao have all spent time with the second team.
