VANCOUVER, BC – Whitecaps FC 2 continue their California road trip on Sunday, May 28 as they take on Western Conference rivals Los Angeles Galaxy II in the second meeting of the season between the two teams. Kickoff from Dignity Health Sports Park in Carson, California is set for 7:30 p.m. PT.

CALI ROAD TRIP: After claiming a 1-0 victory against San Jose Earthquakes II on Thursday, Whitecaps FC 2 wrap up California road trip with a clash against Los Angeles Galaxy II on Sunday, May 28 as they look to continue vaulting themselves to the top of the MLS NEXT Pro Western Conference. Galaxy II, who defeated the young 'Caps 4-3 earlier this season at Swangard Stadium, have dropped four of their last five matches and have conceded 13 goals in that span.
NEAT AND TIDY: Heading into Sunday's match, WFC2 are riding a 213 minute shutout streak, the longest such streak in the clubs MLS NEXT Pro era. In addition, the young 'Caps have recorded a clean sheet in three of their last four matches and have scored the third-most goals in the Western Conference with 20 so far this season.
YOUNG 'CAPS KIWIS: WFC2 centre back Finn Linder and midfielder Jay Herdman are currently away on international duty with New Zealand at the FIFA U-20 World Cup roster. So far, New Zealand sits second in Group A after a 1-0 opening day win over Guatemala and a 2-2 draw against Uzbekistan, with Herdman scoring the second goal for the Kiwis.
