VANCOUVER, BC – Vancouver Whitecaps FC announced on Monday that the club will host a landmark 50th Anniversary Match on Saturday, May 4 as the ‘Caps face Austin FC at BC Place. The game will mark nearly 50 years to the day since the club’s inaugural match on May 5, 1974.
The club also confirmed the Golden Era Pack. The four-match pack includes the home opener, 50th Anniversary Match, inaugural match with Inter Miami CF, and the playoff rematch against Los Angeles FC. Outside of season membership, the Golden Era Pack is currently the only way to secure tickets to all four matches. Single match tickets for games at BC Place will be available at a later date.

March 2 vs. Charlotte FC (home opener)
The first match of the Golden Era pack will be the home opener on March 2, which will be the first ever visit to BC Place from Eastern Conference side Charlotte FC. Charlotte will provide stiff competition under new head coach Dean Smith after making the MLS Cup Playoffs for the first time in 2023.

May 25 vs. Inter Miami CF (inaugural matchup)
Whitecaps FC take on Inter Miami CF for the first time. The ‘Caps will be looking to make a league-wide statement in front of the home supporters at BC Place as they challenge the MLS Cup favourites, led by a contingent of former FC Barcelona stars including Lionel Messi.
August 24 vs. LAFC (MLS Cup Playoffs rematch)
