The storied history of Vancouver Whitecaps FC spans nearly a half-century dating back to our inaugural season in 1974. Over the years, the ’Caps have transformed into a fully integrated club including grassroots soccer across Canada, elite youth development, and a first team in the top tier of professional soccer in Canada and the United States.
As the club enters its second decade in Major League Soccer, our purpose is to unite and inspire our communities, both on and off the pitch. To achieve this, our players, coaches and staff alike are guided by our four cornerstones; team spirit, discipline, work ethic and mentality.
