“Having a billet family here in Vancouver has meant the world to me. It’s not easy being so far away from your own family, but they have always made me feel comfortable and happy. They’ve helped make Vancouver my home, and I’ll always be grateful for that.”
     - Alphonso Davies, Vancouver Whitecaps FC and Canadian men’s national team

Vancouver Whitecaps FC are currently seeking billet homes in the west side of Vancouver for the club’s young players in the Residency program.

Billet families are considered a part of the Whitecaps FC team; without them, we’re not able to support young Canadians in achieving their dreams.

Homes are being sought in the following locations:

Making a player part of your family is a unique and rewarding experience, sharing day-to-day life with them and building a lasting relationship as they embark on a professional soccer career.

Billets for the 2017-18 season will start in August. Players stay with the family while attending school and training daily until the end of June.

“Housing a Whitecaps FC Residency player was the most amazing experience possible. Our children could not have asked for a better role model.”

"Hosting isn’t just about giving a student food and shelter, it's about stepping out of your comfort zone and completely opening yourself into each other's lives. The students need a foundation, boundaries and most of all a warm welcoming "home away from home", that's where we come in as hosts."

Compensation includes:

  • $800/month per player
  • Two MLS season tickets to Whitecaps FC regular season home matches
